Funny funny funny…great comedic action by the movie’s two leading ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in the roles of Kate Holbrook a successful business woman who is feeling her biological clock ticking and Angie Ostrowski a young woman in financial trouble trying to make money in renting out her uterus for 9 months!
The writing is refreshingly funny and the both actresses tie the whole thing together with the acting. The movie follows Kate in her attempts to have a baby, she finally gives up on herself having the baby and employs the help of Angie to act as a surrogate. A couple twists in the story make it interesting and add to the story line.
Overall very funny movie, but I gotta tell you I kind of expended what happens in the end so it was a tad bit disappointing that the writers didn’t take the originally funny and surprising ending route. The movie did not leave me unsatisfied though! I recommend you see it because it does have its funny moments…and the movie does keep your interest throughout!
