Prom Night is a scary movie starring Brittany Snow who plays the role of Donna Keppel. Three years after seeing her family murdered by a teacher who was obsessed with her; Donna is attending her senior prom with some of her friends when the killer escapes from a mental institute to come be with the girl that he loves and get rid of anyone who stands in his way.
This is your typical scary movie, with the obvious scary tactics and scenes that make you mad and say “why is she not running!” It did its job in providing the viewer with a nervous sensation throughout the movie, and by adding the appropriate creepy killer it gave the audience a sense of fear that it could happen to anyone.
Overall, because it was the prom, the script was a little too childish but it gave a perfect scenario and location to do a little killing without anyone noticing.
As far as it being scary, I would have to say I’ve seen better and this movie didn’t have me jumping out of my seat.

I Am Legend depicted by the brilliant Will Smith is definitely a must buy DVD. Based on the 1954 Fiction novel by Richard Matheson, Smith depicts a doctor who is the last man standing after a man made virus affects the human race.
The movie is set in a deserted New York city, where Smith fights for survival while trying to find a cure for this deadly virus to assure the survival of mankind.
This movie is worth it just to watch Will Smith do bare chested pull-ups alone! The actor seems to be coming into his own and simply gets better and better with every movie he makes. He no longer is the young comedic Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but a seriously talented actor that brings the best of the best to the big screen.
The story line of this movie really makes you wonder…even if it is fiction…if this is what we could be heading for…. :s

Cloverfield
If you are susceptible to motion sickness…BEWARE….this movie has you following a guy holding a camera for the whole movie….yes the whole movie! So it’s a rocky road, and the picture quality isn’t great. I kinda get where the producer was going with it…but frankly you spend your time squinting and trying to keep your popcorn and Pepsi down.
The story line isn’t bad but the movie leaves you with so many unanswered questions you are as puzzled with what is going on from beginnning to dead end. It’s like the beginning of the movie never ends…it doesn’t go in to the middle of the movie and doesn’t really have an end.
At first the movie was quite exciting….but to be quite honest the ending completely killed the movie.
The movie is coming out on DVD on April 22nd 2008, I suggest you rent it before you buy it…or better yet watch it from your computer for free….its not really worth the money!
As for the actors…to be quite honest….they are not really worth mentioning…all they do is scream and look back at the camera really…not much to say…if you disagree by all means…send some comments!
