Mad Money
Money makes you mad…its true…the question is…If you knew you would never get caught…would you steal millions of dollars?
The story line is set when Diane Keaton’s character needs to generate more income to prevent her family from going into bankruptcy. She meets two other women in the need for cash and they basically feel the need for greed and decide to devise a plot to gradually steal money from the bank.
Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, and Diane Keaton are a delight to watch in this movie. They really made me wonder…hmmm…could this really happen…I mean I’m sure vaults are more secure than that but still…it could be possible!
The story line is good, the actresses are good, and overall the movie was entertaining. It wasn’t an oscar winning performance but it definitely is a good movie to rent.
The DVD is set to come out on May 13th, 2008.

27 Dresses
This romantic comedy does not dissapoint. The movie’s star Katherine Heigl is a delight to watch and proves once again that she can rock the leading role of a movie. She can also be seen as the leading lady in the movie Knocked Up opposite Seth Rogen.
The Grey’s Anatomy co-star portray a young woman that cannot seem to get into the bridal dress and therefore amidst her own insecurities about relationships she ends up being the made of honor at 27 weddings.
The great thing about this movie is that you get to laugh at all the different wedding dress designs as well as enjoy the refreshingly funny story line.
The DVD set to come out on April 29th 2008 is a great movie to rent or buy to add to any romantic comedy fanatic. The only thing about this movie is its predictability…I’ll let you figure that one out!
The movie is funny and entertaining, but it does miss that wow factor that makes you just want to rip it off the shelves.

This journey back to prehistoric times brings new respect and new appreciation for today’s life of luxury. This jaw-dropping movie takes us into the world of nomadic and sedentary people. The story depicts a young man who in trying to find himself, leads a whole army of different tribes against a so called GOD, and is trying to save his loved one.
This movie is not what we call an absolute subtitle movie (where the whole movie is subtitled), it is partial…this plays well into the movie and there are hardly any.
The visual effects resemble that of the movie 300, which were on a scale of its own. The story is well depicted and the acting is above average. This is an action packed movie with meaning and a great story line. Might not be an award winning movie but its definitely entertaining!
