BANANA SPLIT
Ingredients
Vanilla Ice Cream, Ripe Banana, Toppings (chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, chocolate chips, maraschino cherry, candy toppings, etc….the possibilities are endless)
Directions:
-Take a nice big bowl! Cut the banana straight down the middle length wise.
-Place the two pieces in the bowl…in between the slices place 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
- You can be very creative with the next part:
-Heat up some store bought chocolate sauce and poor over ice cream and banana, add some crumbled peanuts, then some whipped cream…and finish with a cherry!
This is my favorite variation but please feel free to find your own and post it!
Great for movie nights to share or NOT!
Enjoy!!!!

July’s DVD of the month set to come out on July 15th, 2008 is Step Up 2 ; The Streets. If you loved the first one the second one even better with incredible dance moves. The acting is a little amateurish but it is quite offset by the dancing which is displayed all throughout the movie. The two main characters Andie (Briana Evigan) and Chase (Robert Hoffman) pair up and put together a dance crew made up of the school rejects and prepare to dance up a storm at the Streets competition. Here they will try to prove to everybody that you don’t have to fit a certain mold to be able to dance.
This movie was great considering that I am a very big dance enthusiast, however the acting was not the greatest…it was a little cheezy at times and the actors didn’t seem to be acting naturally rather they looked slightly robotic.

The Love Guru, Mike Myers, how does he come up with this stuff! The story line isn’t bad, it filled with its twist and turns but nothing comes as a surprise. I did enjoy Justin Timberlake’s impersonation of a French Canadian who is in love with Celine Dion though, that was pure comedy!
There were some very funny moments in the movie, and some slower parts where I asked myself why in the world did I pay to see this movie, but it was overall entertaining. I appreciated it overall.
Let me put it to you this way, The Love Guru is very similar in nature to Austin Powers, he is just another stupid character that comes out with some great jokes but the fact remains that the movie itself is pure stupidity.
Jessica Alba, you are pretty, but comedy is definitely not your thing! Stick to the things you know!
